I offer Paint Nights in a variety of settings. Using acid-free, highly pigmented and fast drying inks called alcohol inks, participants are encouraged to let their innate creativity surface in a small group environment. Using a simple technique of dropping vivid colored inks onto a surface, blowing through a straw to assist the inks to move around, each participant will create a beautiful, unique individual work of art that they will be proud to display in their home or work environment.
What happens at a paint night?
You will be guided through the creation of an abstract alcohol ink painting.
You will leave the workshop with a framed work of art that is a unique blend of colors and provides you with a creative expression of one particular moment in time.

We are all inherently creative, and there are many, many forms that creativity takes. In that sense there is no 'perfect painting'. Participating in this Paint Night offers you the opportunity to reawaken your inherent creativity! By participating in this workshop you will:
- Have fun and laugh
- Embrace spontaneity and loss of control
- Challenge some of the negative messages you may have about your creativity
AND - Reawaken your creativity!

You will take home a framed 8 x 11 original abstract alcohol ink painting.

Create a large collaborative work of art using of alcohol inks! Gather together with your church, community, co-workers, or extended family to create a canvas that everyone contributes to. This concept also works great for bridal showers, celebration of significant life events, reunions etc.

A collaborative art experience involves gathering together your community, co-workers, extended family, etc. to create a piece of art that everyone participates in. Specifics will be discussed and developed in consultation with each group.
How many people can be involved?
Specifics will be discussed with each group. Your group can be large (in the hundreds) or small (5 or more).
Who Takes Home the Art Piece?
Ownership of the art belongs to the organizing group. We can discuss various ways that each individual who participates can take home a piece or representation of the collaborative work.

That depends on the scope of the work.
